(BOISE, ID) – Idaho farmers are suing Monsanto after genetically engineered wheat was found in an eastern Oregon field. The group is concerned that GMO wheat will likely infiltrate their own wheat, which isn’t genetically modified. They argue that Monsanto’s wheat significantly reduces soft wheat prices overall, since countries like Japan refuse to import genetically modified wheat products.
