Former President George H.W. Bush Released from Hospital
Published at(HOUSTON) — Former President George H.W. Bush has been released from a Texas hospital seven days after being admitted for having trouble breathing.
“He is now resting at home, grateful to the doctors and nurses for their superb care,” his spokesman, Jim McGrath, said in a statement Tuesday.
The 90-year-old former president was rushed to Houston’s Methodist Hospital on Dec. 23 after experiencing shortness of breath earlier that evening. He was kept in the facility through Christmas though his spokesman regularly reported that he was in good spirits and the additional observation was done out of an abundance of caution.
