Gas Prices Down 10 Cents from Last Week
Published at | Updated at(WASHINGTON) — The price of gas continued trending downward this week, as the average gallon across America costs about 10 cents less than last week.
The average gallon of gas costs about $2.30 this week, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said. That price is even cheaper in the Gulf Coast region, where a gallon costs just $2.07.
The most expensive region to buy gas continues to be the West Coast, at $2.62 per gallon, while New York remains the most expensive state of the nine measured by the EIA, at $2.77.
