ISP Nixes Red Lights for ISU Security
Published at | Updated atPocatello, Idaho — Vehicles used by campus security at Idaho State University will no longer be allowed to use red lights. The Idaho State Police has told the university that their use is no longer authorized.
ISP indicated that they had recieved reports of campus security using the lights to conduct traffic stops. According to ISP director Col. Ralph Powell, the red lights were supposed to limited to traffic alerts.
Idaho State University officials say they will compy.
