Hip-hop producer Mally Mall told TMZ last week that Cannon’s new album would contain “controversial” comments about his estranged wife.
Cannon, 34, and Carey, 45, were married in April 2008. Parents of twins, Moroccan and Monroe, they confirmed their separation in August.
Since then, Cannon has publicly expressed his support for Carey and even defended her against negative comments.
