No. 1 Alabama Rocks No. 16 Missouri, Wins SEC Title
Published at(ATLANTA, Ga) — The Crimson Tide rolled over the Missouri Tigers to cinch another SEC Title.
Saturday, No. 1 Alabama (12-1) was led by their ground game as T.J. Yeldon and Derick Henry pounded the Crimson Tide to a 42-13 victory over the Tigers (10-3).
Henry did the heavy lifting as he carried the rock 20 times for 141 yards and two touchdowns. Yeldon also cashed in a pair of touchdowns.
Quarterback Blake Sims capitalized on the strong running effort as he took advantage of the Tigers defense trying to stop Alabama’s running game. Sims was 23-27 for 262 yards and tossed a pair of touchdowns.
Alabama will likely seal up their number one spot in the college football playoff selection committee’s rankings as they compete for another National Championship.
