Wife of Killed French Cartoonist Reflects on Paris Shooting

wifeoffrenchcartoonistJPG?  SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1421000767035ABC News(PARIS) — The wife of Bernard “Tignous” Verlhac spoke to ABC News’ Terry Moran about the Paris attack that killed her husband, a cartoonist for Charlie Hebdo.

His wife, Chloe Verlhac, said her husband and the other cartoonists were “never scared” despite threats made against them.

“They have always been victims of threats,” she said.

“Tignous” was one of 12 people killed in the offices of the satirical weekly newspaper when two gunmen opened fire at the Charlie Hebdo newspaper offices on Wednesday.

Brothers Said Kouachi, 34, and Cherif Kouachi, 32, the suspects in the shooting, were killed Friday when police stormed the printing press where they’d holed up.
