Armored Truck Driver Shot Outside Houston Bank

John Roman/iStock/Thinkstock(HOUSTON) — An armored truck driver was fatally shot on Thursday afternoon outside a Capital One Bank in Houston.
The Houston Police Department confirmed to ABC News that a Brinks truck guard was shot by three masked gunmen. The victim’s female co-worker returned fire, and the gunmen fled.
The suspects’ vehicle, a white Ford F-250 pickup truck, was recovered, but the suspects remained at large Thursday night.
Houston Police Department Public Information Officer Kese Smith told ABC News that the guard later died of his injuries.
