The diminutive 46-year-old actor, best known for his role as Dr. Evil’s sidekick, “Mini-Me,” in the Austin Powers movies, was at the Heart of Texas Comic Con in Waco when he suffered the seizure. Witnesses tell TMZ the actor was struggling to breathe.

Troyer’s rep tells the gossip website the actor was transported to a hospital as a precautionary measure.

Troyer tweeted an update on his condition Saturday afternoon, writing, “Everything’s ok guys. Thanks for the concern.”

In a video posted a short time later, Troyer said, “I’m sure you guys have heard some news that I went to the hospital. But I just want to reassure you and let everybody know that I’m doing fine. I was there for maybe a couple of hours, did some tests and now I’m here at the hotel.”

There’s no word yet on what caused the seizure.
