Singapore Named World’s Best Airport

iStock/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — To get to the “world’s best airport,” you have to travel all the way to Singapore. But according to Skytrax, an aviation industry consultancy service, it’s worth the trip.

As it had in 2013 and 2014, Changi Airport Singapore won the title of “World’s Best,” in addition to “Best Airport for Leisure Amenities” while Crowne Plaza Changi Airport was selected as the best hotel.

According to Skytrax, the results come from “the largest, annual global airport customer satisfaction survey.”  Over 1.5 million travelers from 65 countries voted on various metrics.

The continent of Asia features six of the top ten world’s best airports while Europe boasts the other four.

As for the U.S., the best of the bunch is Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International at number 30 in the top 100 and Denver International Airport in 33rd place.

4. Hong Kong International
5. Tokyo International (Haneda)
6. Zurich Airport
7. Central Japan International (Nagoya)

9. Amsterdam Schiphol
