Germanwings Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Venice

Flight Aware(VENICE, Italy) — A Germanwings plane on its way to Rome was forced to make an emergency landing in Venice on Friday.
The Germanwings plane was flying from Hanover, Germany to Rome, but it had to make an alternative landing in Venice after a passenger and flight attendant fell acutely ill.
The forced landing in Venice comes as investigators into the Germanwings crash in southern France reveal the second black box confirms that co-pilot Andreas Lubitz purposely crashed the plane, killing all 150 people on board. The second black box data show that Lubitz accelerated the plane as it descended into mountains.
