Grizzlies’ Conley Out Game 4

(MEMPHIS) — The Memphis Grizzlies are on the cusp of eliminating the Portland Trailblazers from the first round of the playoffs, but they will have go without point guard Mike Conley in game four.
Conley’s face was on the receiving end of Portland’s C.J. Miller’s elbow in the third quarter of Saturday’s 115-109 victory.
“Mike Conley has a facial injury, we flew him back to Memphis to be reevaluated, he will be out for Game 4,” said Memphis head coach Dave Joerger.
Conley was taken to a medical facility Saturday evening and was released later the same night to return for team dinner.
Conley has averaged 16 points per game in Portland’s three victories.
