IFPD investigating altercation, man in critical condition

IDAHO FALLS — The Idaho Falls Police Department is investigating an altercation that occurred early Saturday morning that resulted in a 36‐year‐old Idaho Falls man being
punched unconscious and sent by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
According to reports, officers responded to an incident of road rage between multiple individuals around 2 a.m. near 25th Street and Holmes Avenue.
The victim is currently in critical condition.
Police have not identified the victim or his attackers. The case is under investigation.
