James gave away the ball with an offensive foul with under 20 seconds remaining, that Derrick Rose took advantage of with a basket to tie the game, but Cleveland got the last shot to fall.

“I just told [Matthew] Dellavedova to get me the ball and I’m going to win this game for us,” James told ABC-TV after the game.

James thought that he was fouled as the clock hit .8 seconds left, but after review the officials put more time on the clock which allowed him to get loose and nail the long two-point basket from the side of the court.

Cavaliers head coach David Blatt admitted after the game that he almost called a timeout before the James play happened, but his players reminded him that they had none left.  If the officials would have seen Blatt call for a timeout, the Bulls would have gotten the ball due to a technical foul and a free throw.
