Marreese Speights Has Strained Calf, Will Miss Game 4
Published at | Updated at(MEMPHIS) — Golden State Warriors center Marreese Speights is out at least one week after an MRI revealed a right calf strain.
The Warriors announced Sunday that Speights has been ruled out for Monday night’s Game 4 and he will be re-evaluated in a week.
The injury occurred during the fourth quarter of Golden State’s 99-89 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies in Saturday night’s Game 3.
After scoring six straight points early in the fourth quarter, Speights limped to the bench rubbing the back of his lower right leg.
Speights averaged 10.4 points in 19.5 minutes per game this season.
