High-risk Idaho Falls veteran missing

IDAHO FALLS — A high-risk veteran has been reported missing in Bonneville County.

Mark T. Oliver, a medically retired combat war veteran, left his Idaho Falls home Sunday night and hasn’t returned. The army veteran suffers from severe PTSD and depression and has a medical history of seizures and black outs.

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office confirms a missing persons report was filed Monday, Aug. 31 for Oliver.

Oliver was last seen wearing a black military shirt, blue jeans, and grey tennis shoes. He wears glasses and has a white gold wedding band. He is 6′ ft tall, about 180 pounds, blue eyes, and brown hair. He has a large roses tattoo on his left forearm.

He is driving a metallic blue 2010 Mazda 3.

If located, authorities are asking residents to contact the Bonneville County Dispatch at (208) 529-1200, so they can perform a welfare check.
