Police pursuit through Idaho Falls neighborhood ends in apparent suicide

IDAHO FALLS — Police say a man killed himself after a pursuit through an Idaho Falls neighborhood Friday Dec. 11.
Multiple police officers responded to the 300 block of 3rd Street around 8:15 p.m.
Investigators tell EastIdahoNews.com the man, who was suicidal, ran into a home and officers followed him.
Police say the man then ran out the back door and took his life.
Third Street was blocked off for nearly an hour, but the road is back open.
