EastIdahoNews.com receives Emmy nomination

IDAHO FALLS — EastIdahoNews.com is among several Gem State media organizations who have been nominated for regional Emmy awards in 2016.
The nominations were announced this weekend by the National Academy of Television Arts and Science’s Northwest Chapter.
Reporter Nate Eaton, and the EastIdahoNews.com news team, were nominated in the Continuing Coverage category for our ongoing reporting on the disappearance of DeOrr Kunz Jr. Also nominated in that category are four television stations from Oregon and Washington.
Idaho Public Television is the only Idaho organization to be nominated in the Overall Excellence category. IPT also received 10 other nominations in nine different categories.
KTVB in Boise received eight Emmy nods in five categories including morning and evening news programs and in sports.
KBOI in Boise received four nominations in the evening news category.
