REXBURG – Craving a beef burrito at 11 p.m.? Or maybe you forgot to pick up that special foot cream at a certain Rexburg shop?

An Upper Valley delivery service can bring you almost anything you need at anytime of the day for only $5.

“I use it about once a week,” customer Dakota Merrill said.

Get Me That Delivery is an online service that will deliver anything that can fit in a car to its customers. The business is becoming popular among locals as well as college kids.

“I like to order McDonald’s and cheap stuff a lot because I’m on that college budget,” Merrill said.

Owners Taylor and Cagney Merrill started the company in 2014. It was originally called Iceburg Delivery. Now residents of Colorado, they run their Idaho business remotely.

“The biggest advantage of using Get Me That Delivery is the convenience of not having to leave your house and get dinner or groceries if you don’t have a car, or time, or the weather is bad,” owner Taylor Merrill said.

Making orders on Get Me That Delivery’s site is pretty simple. All customers have to do is fill out form on the website. In seconds a runner is confirming the order through a text message.

“People seem to be pretty receptive to it,” runner Kenneth Pinkerton said. “They like the idea that they can just go online and place an order and a few minutes later they have whatever they wanted at their door.”

Get Me That Delivery makes stops in Rexburg and surrounding areas. The company promises orders in less than 35 minutes. Pinkerton said orders that are closer to downtown Rexburg can take anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes.

“I run groceries, or fast food or food orders from any place in the Rexburg area,” Pinkerton said. “(Or) toilet paper, any type of dishes or cookware that they may need, things like that.”

With all of the different requests Get Me That Delivery runners receive, certain requests don’t make the cut, like picking kids up from school.

“We don’t deliver any type of controlled substance, so anything tobacco, alcohol, wine, liquor, things like that we won’t do. Just a liability issue on our part,” Pinkerton said.

Regardless, the three active runners in the area are ready to help customers out at any time.

“One of the things I like the best is to be able to help someone out and see them smile when I do a good job,” Pinkerton said.
