2 people hurt after fight breaks out in Bonneville County neighborhood

BONNEVILLE COUNTY — Sheriff deputies were called to a Bonneville County neighborhood Wednesday night after a fight broke near the corner of Greenwillow Lane and Stevens Drive.
Dispatchers received a call around 8 p.m. that there was a dispute between neighbors and gunshots had been fired, according to Bonneville County Sheriff Det. J. Fielding.
“We arrived and learned gunshots had not been fired. We were able to break up the dispute and we learned two people had been injured,” Fielding tells EastIdahoNews.com.
One person was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center by ambulance and another decided to drive himself to the hospital for medical care.
Detectives did recover a BB gun and were observed searching a vehicle. Charges may be filed against those involved in the altercation.
