IDAHO FALLS — Crews successfully removed a vehicle that landed on the ice of the Snake River following an alleged road rage incident Wednesday night.
Idaho Falls Police and Idaho Falls Fire responded to Riverside Drive across the street from the LDS Temple around 7:00 p.m.
A car was on the ice underneath a tree and police say it ended up there following an incident involving the drivers of two vehicles that began at Walmart on South Utah Avenue.
“We had two adult males driving different vehicles and there was some sort of verbal altercation,” Cook tells EastIdahoNews.com. “The silver sedan went over the edge to avoid a jogger who was coming along the Greenbelt pathway. Both drivers will be charged with reckless driving.”
