Winter weather advisory near Wyoming and Montana borders
Published at | Updated atISLAND PARK — A winter weather advisory is in effect for higher elevation areas along the Montana and Wyoming borders.
The advisory will impact the following communities until about 11 p.m. Wednesday: Soda Springs, Henry, Bone, Victor,
Ashton, Driggs, Island Park and Montpelier.
National Weather Service forecasters say between 4 to 9 inches of snow is expected throughout the day.
Gusty winds, especially in mountain passes, will lead to blowing and drifting snow and may reduce visibility on roads.
Most highways along the Montana and Wyoming borders are already listed as in difficult condition due to snow or ice on the roadway. To check road conditions visit 511 Idaho.
