HAMER – Multiple fire agencies are fighting a hay shed fire south of Hamer.

Central Fire District Chief Carl Anderson tells the fire broke out around 7 a.m. about a mile and a half south of Hamer off U.S. Highway 91.

Details about the cause, the extent of the damage, and whether there are any injuries are not currently available.

Anderson says Central Fire District is not involved, but firefighters in Hamer, Roberts and West Jefferson initially responded. Other agencies are on the way, as of 10:15 a.m.

East Idaho News will post more details as they become available.
