UPDATE: Authorities find boy reported missing in Mountain Home

MOUNTAIN HOME – A boy reported missing in Mountain Home Saturday has been found.

Idaho State Police report he is safe, as of 11:35 p.m.

Information about where he was or what happened was not released.

MOUNTAIN HOME – Authorities are asking for your help finding a missing 11-year-old boy.

Idaho State Police report William Michael Lahtinen left his house in Mountain Home at 4:30 Saturday afternoon to walk his dog. Police think he may have been riding a blue scooter. The boy never returned home, but the dog was eventually found unattended.

William is 4 foot 6 and weighs about 60 pounds. He has blonde hair and brown eyes and was wearing a brown T-shirt, blue jeans and cowboy boots.

He has a birthmark on his nose and above his brow, according to a news release.
