Authorities need help finding man missing for nearly two weeks
IDAHO FALLS — Deputies and a family are asking for help finding a man who disappeared 12 days ago.
The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Sterling Johnson was last seen on Oct. 30 around 4 p.m. at the City of Refuge in Idaho Falls. According to a news release, Johnson does not have sufficient clothing for cold weather or necessary medications for his health issues.
“We are worried sick and we miss him,” said Johnson’s step-mother Christine Johnson. “We just want to bring him home and get some help.”
BCSO spokesman Bryan Lovell said in a news release that Johnson typically lives with relatives but often leaves for long periods, living homeless.
Johnson was last seen wearing grey sweatpants, a blue or grey hoodie and orange shoes. Johnson is approximately 6′ and weighs 180 lbs.
Anyone who knows about Johnson’s whereabouts since Oct. 30 is asked to contact BCSO dispatch at (208) 529-1200. People can also contact Crimestoppers at (208) 522-1983 or online at ifcrime.org.
