IDAHO FALLS – A woman was injured following a chain reaction crash in Idaho Falls Monday night that damaged four cars.

Idaho Falls Police Department spokeswoman Jessica Clements tells EastIdahoNews.com a driver and passenger in a red Pontiac Grand Am crashed into a garage at 1308 South Woodruff a little after 6 p.m.

She drove through the wall of the garage and hit the car inside. The car continued through the connecting wall on the other side of the garage and hit another vehicle. She hit a third connecting wall and another vehicle before coming to a stop.

The woman sustained minor injuries. The damage to property and vehicles is significant, but an exact amount has not been determined.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. Clements says drugs and alcohol were not involved.

Officers are still at the crash site. Since it occurred on private property, it is not impacting traffic.
