Emmy is asking 7 Questions and showing how pizza is made at Lucy’s Pizzeria

Every week I’m interviewing fascinating people in our community, nation and around the world!

The idea came from a Facebook commenter who saw a video of me and my family floating down the river in Island Park. The person said I should turn the tables and interview my dad (Nate Eaton) – so I did and the rest is history!

Today I’m talking with Geoff Padigimus, one of the co-owners of Lucy’s New York Style Pizzeria. Geoff opened his first restaurant in Roberts and has expanded now to two locations in Idaho Falls, one in Twin Falls and one in Orem, Utah.

I got to make a pizza with Geoff and asked him the following questions:

  • What made you think of starting a pizza place?
  • Can you tell me the story of how Lucy’s got its name?
  • What do you look for in an employee?
  • Do you ever get sick of eating pizza?
  • What type of pizza do you like the most?
  • How do you spin the pizza dough into a big pizza?
  • Who came up with the idea to have markers so you can write on the tables?
