I-15 between Idaho Falls and Roberts closed due to high wind, and blowing dust
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS — State officials have closed a section of Interstate 15 between Idaho Falls and Roberts due to high winds and blowing dust.
The road was closed at 3:30 p.m. Friday. It’s unclear when the road will reopen.
A large section of eastern Idaho is currently under a wind advisory. Southwest winds of 30 to 40 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph, are in effect until 9 p.m. Friday.
