IDAHO FALLS — The Frontier Credit Union Foundation, a leading force in philanthropy and community empowerment, is proud to receive the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award. This award honors credit unions for community impact programs and celebrates the accomplishments of credit unions in the areas of member service. The Frontier Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charity that has been providing reliable footwear to children in need since 1987.

The purpose of The Frontier Foundation is to build better lives throughout Idaho. The Foundation raised over $56,000 through its 2023 charitable foundation golf tournament, alone.

The Foundation has also established The Coins for Christmas program where schools compete to collect the most coins to support other children in their local communities.

“We are honored to receive the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award,” said the Foundation President Alicia Jones. “This award reaffirms our commitment to making a positive impact on the communities we serve. It wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our community and those who have helped us continue to build better lives.”
