JEROME – Four people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Jerome Sunday morning.

It happened at 8:25 a.m. on South Lincoln Road and West Avenue East, according to a news release from Idaho State Police.

An 18-year-old boy from Jerome was headed south on South Lincoln in a 2018 Kia Stinger. He had two passengers with him. The Kia collided head on with a northbound 2018 Dodge Ram 1500. The driver, an unnamed 65-year-old Jerome man, was making a left turn.

“The Kia came to rest on the right shoulder and the Dodge came to rest in the lanes of travel,” ISP report.

One of the passengers in the Kia was the only person involved who was not wearing a seat belt. Though the exact conditions of the victims wasn’t specified, ISP say all of them were taken by ambulance to local hospitals.

The southbound lane of Lincoln Road was blocked for about three and a half hours during the ordeal.

ISP are still investigating the crash.

ISP is grateful to Magic Valley Paramedics, Air St Luke’s Ground, Jerome City Fire Department, and Jerome City Police Department for their help.
