A local Secret Santa is giving $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season. Every day, from now until the end of the year, the East Idaho News elves will be delivering gifts from Secret Santa and we’ll be sharing the surprise videos here.

Since birth, Eric and Jodi’s daughter, Kyllie, has undergone more than 30 surgeries and medical procedures — many at Primary Children’s Hospital in Utah. She lives with a rare, incurable condition that causes her to stop breathing for extended periods, requiring constant care and frequent out-of-state medical trips.

With only one working vehicle in the household, Jodi uses it to take Kyllie to her appointments in Utah, leaving Eric without reliable transportation.

Determined to keep providing for his family, he rides his bike to work each day, often beginning his 10-hour shifts as early as 4:30 a.m. Friends, family, and coworkers frequently pitch in to give him rides so he can visit Jodi and Kyllie on weekends.

As Kyllie now prepares for treatment in Boston, the family’s financial burdens have continued to grow.

That’s when a local Secret Santa heard about the family and asked the East Idaho News elves to pay them a visit. Check out the surprise in the video player above!
