IDAHO FALLS — Frank VanderSloot will make a major announcement Thursday morning about the future of the Melaleuca Freedom Celebration.
VanderSloot is holding a news conference at 11 a.m. to discuss the future of the event, which is held every year on the Fourth of July. The annual tradition began in 1992 and is known as the largest fireworks show west of the Mississippi River.
