ImPressed Coffee Co. celebrates 5 years with free drinks and giveaways

CHUBBUCK — Five years ago, businessman Ric Boyce had a vision for more than a place to grab a cup of coffee on the go.
He wanted a gathering place where friends could meet, local musicians could perform, bikers and classic car enthusiasts could show off their rides, and everyone would feel welcome.
That vision has grown into ImPressed Coffee Co., which is celebrating its fifth anniversary on Friday, July 31, with a daylong thank-you to the community that helped make it happen.
“When we opened five years ago, the dream was to create a place where people could gather for music, fun and really good espresso,” Boyce said. “The support from this community has made that dream a reality.”
To mark the milestone, they’re offering customers free drinks while supplies last and opportunities to win free drink cards for future visits.
Over the years, ImPressed Coffee Co. has evolved into much more than a drive-thru coffee shop. Open Mic Fridays have become a regular stage for local musicians, Caffeine & Chrome Saturdays draw classic car enthusiasts, and the business frequently supports schools, nonprofits and community events throughout the area.

Earlier this year, ImPressed also earned second place at Pocatello’s Chocolate Lovers Affair with its signature “Crazy Stupid Good Brownies.”

Manager Natasha Chriswell said one of her favorite parts of the job has been watching the coffee shop become a welcoming place for young musicians and getting to know the customers and what drinks they like.
“We have people come in with their guitars who have become regular performers,” Chriswell said. “It’s been a blast. It’s so fun.”
She said the staff’s goal is to create what they call “handcrafted happiness,” whether customers order a favorite latte, a Lotus energy drink, a frappé or simply a great cup of coffee.
While Boyce and Chriswell acknowledge there have been challenges during the past five years, they say the relationships they’ve built with customers have made the journey worthwhile.
“We wouldn’t be here without the incredible support of our customers and community,” Boyce said. “This anniversary is our chance to give back and say thank you.”
The celebration will also introduce a new lineup of weekly featured drink specials, giving customers something new to look forward to throughout the week.

ImPressed Coffee Co., located at 127 W. Burnside Ave. in Chubbuck, is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The coffee shop offers handcrafted espresso drinks, Lotus and Red Bull infusions, smoothies, frappés, gourmet sodas, teas and other specialty beverages.
Community members are invited to stop by Friday, celebrate the milestone and help kick off the coffee shop’s next five years. For more information follow Impressed Coffee Co. on Facebook.
