Tonight on Courtroom Insider, the Lindsay Clancy trial is nearing its end and prosecutors are making their final push to convince jurors she was criminally responsible for killing her three children.

A prosecution expert raised new questions about Clancy’s account of what happened inside the home, including the voice she says commanded her to kill, inconsistencies in her recollection and the decisions she allegedly made before and during the killings.

The defense fought back hard, highlighting Clancy’s severe mental health struggles, suicidal thoughts, insomnia and medication concerns in the months before the deaths.

With testimony expected to wrap up Wednesday and closing arguments set for Thursday, Nate Eaton breaks down what happened in court on day 20 and what’s next.

Plus, the Mario Fernandez Saldana murder trial has reached the jury. Prosecutors and defense attorneys delivered dramatically different closing arguments over whether Fernandez helped orchestrate the killing of Jared Bridegan.

The defense argued there are major holes in the case and prosecutors insist the evidence points in only one direction.
