PAUL — A semi-truck rolled on Interstate 84 late Sunday night, blocking the eastbound lanes near the Jerome-Minidoka county line.

Idaho State Police says the crash happened around 11:55 p.m. at milepost 201.

A 26-year-old man from Kent, Washington, was driving a 2020 International LT625 semi east when the truck went off the right shoulder, according to ISP. Police say the driver overcorrected, causing the semi to roll and come to rest in the travel lanes.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt but was not injured.

Eastbound I-84 remained blocked while crews worked to clear the scene.

Multiple law enforcement, fire and medical agencies assisted at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
