Two nationally touring folk duos to perform in Ashton

ASHTON — Two nationally touring folk duos will take the stage at Warm River Studio in Ashton on Thursday, Aug. 27 as part of Warm River Studio’s summer lineup.
The Rough & Tumble and Flagship Romance will perform at 7 p.m. at the studio, 612 Main Street. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with complimentary refreshments available. Tickets are $20.
Flagship Romance features married singer-songwriters Shawn Fisher and Jordyn Jackson, an alternative folk duo known for vocal harmonies, acoustic arrangements and original songwriting.

The Rough & Tumble performs a blend of folk and Americana, combining upbeat melodies and storytelling with humor and onstage banter.
Each duo will perform its own set before joining together for a final performance featuring all four musicians.
Warm River Studio owner Ellen Lynch calls the performers “two ridiculously talented and energetic duos” who bring “great music and great energy.”
The studio is also featuring “For the Love of Place,” a group exhibition showcasing work by Katy Ann Fox, Dave Hall, Blake Luther, Stef Schroeder and Sue Tyler.
