Body pulled from Snake River; deputies continue search for second missing man

IDAHO FALLS — Nearly a week after an Arizona man fell into the Snake River, his body has now been recovered.
According to a news release, the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office Dive and Rescue team recovered the body of Teng Go, 88, just south of the Broadway Street Bridge.

Go was found at a depth of 46 feet below the water’s surface around 10:30 a.m.
“Divers and rescue personnel have been searching the area since last Saturday, taking advantage of lower water flow and improved conditions,” the release states.

With Go’s body recovered, deputies are continuing their efforts to find John Green, 54, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Green fell into the Snake River just north of the Broadway Street Bridge back in June.
Go’s body was turned over to the Idaho Falls Police Department and the Bonneville County Coroner to continue their investigation.
“Our thoughts are with the families of Mr. Go and Mr. Green,” the release states.
