PLACES, PLEASE! An Afternoon of Broadway Favorites coming to Ashton

ASHTON — Broadway favorites will fill Warm River Studio in Ashton on Sunday, Oct. 4, during “PLACES, PLEASE! An Afternoon of Broadway Favorites.”
Pianist Allison Andersen will join vocalists Sami Ryan and Devin Cameron for the 4 p.m. performance at Warm River Studio, 612 Main Street. Doors open at 3:30 p.m., and complimentary refreshments will be available before the show. Tickets are $20.
The program will feature songs from a variety of Broadway productions, including “People Will Say We’re in Love” from “Oklahoma!,” “Music of the Night” from “The Phantom of the Opera,” and “I Could Have Danced All Night” from “My Fair Lady.”

Andersen is a pianist, conductor and arts advocate who serves as music director of the Idaho Falls Opera Theatre and as a collaborative pianist with the East Idaho Youth Chorus. She is also music coordinator at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Cameron is an artist and performer with an extensive background in musical theater. His stage credits include roles in “The Scarlet Pimpernel,” “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” “Annie Get Your Gun,” “The Prince of Egypt,” “Beauty and the Beast” and “Shrek the Musical.”
Ryan has also appeared in numerous musical productions, including “Something Rotten,” “The Secret Garden,” “The Wind in the Willows,” and “Honk!” She has also performed as a soloist at regional concerts.
Ellen Lynch, owner of the studio, said, “I just saw a video of one of the vocalists singing ‘Don’t Rain on My Parade’ from Funny Girl. Sami Ryan is incredibly talented! ‘PLACES, PLEASE! An Afternoon of Broadway Favorites’ is going to be so much fun.”
