ISLAND PARK — Police are asking for help in finding the driver of a pickup truck who left the scene of a crash in Island Park.
It happened Sunday around 8 p.m. on U.S. Highway 20, according to Idaho State Police. Authorities say the driver of a red Chevrolet Silverado attempted to illegally pass on a three-lane section of the highway and created a near head-on collision with an oncoming Subaru.

While attempting to avoid the pickup, the Subaru left the highway, struck an embankment and rolled. The two occupants in the Subaru were taken to the hospital and the driver of the pickup truck left the scene.
Anyone who recognizes the Silverado or has information about the driver is asked to contact Idaho State Police at (208) 846-7500.
