The prosecution has rested its case in the Cooper Ouellette trial, and the defense is challenging some of the state’s most important evidence.

It was the fifth day of the trial and experts clashed over data used to reconstruct the teens’ drive home the night 17-year-old Sophie died. The defense questioned the accuracy of the app’s location and speed calculations and also pressed a detective on why Ouellette was never given a blood test.
