Sam Bradford Hurts Knee against Browns
Published at(CLEVELAND) — St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford left Saturday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns in the first quarter after getting hit in the left leg by defensive lineman Armonty Bryant.
Bradford limped off the field on his own power after doctors and the team staff made sure he was able to.
Bradford received tests which showed no initial damage to his surgically repaired leg, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reports.
“I’ve talked to Sam,” Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said after the game.
“He’s fine, he’s upbeat,” Fisher continued. “We’ll see.”
Bradford suffered a torn left ACL injury against the Carolina Panthers last October and was making his second preseason start.
Bradford was 4 of 9 for 77 yards before the injury.
