Cop Shot South of Paris, Unknown If Linked to “Charlie Hebdo” Attack
Published at(PARIS) — France 24 reported a shooting Thursday morning just south of Paris that left one police officer in critical condition. Another person was injured.
This latest incident comes in the wake of Wednesday’s attack at the offices of the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo in Paris that left 12 people dead while two of the assailants remain at large.
French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said Thursday that French authorities do not yet know if the shooting incident south of Paris is related to Wednesday’s attack.
A manhunt continues for two brothers, Said Kouachi and Cherif Kouachi, in connection with the deadly attack.
