The far-left Syriza party swept recent elections in Greece, campaigning on an anti-austerity platform that caused widespread concern over a Greek exit from the Eurozone.

Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis and his German counterpart discussed a bridge program through the end of May which would set up negotiations for a new contract with the European Central Bank, International Monetary Fund and the European Union.

On Wednesday, finance ministers from 19 Eurozone countries are expected to get together to discuss the debt plaguing Greece.
