After Practice Fight, Drake Won’t Play in Penn State’s Bowl Game
Published at(NEW YORK) — Back on December 16th, Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin and wide receiver Curtis Drake got into a physical altercation after a practice that resulted in McGloin suffering a seizure and concussion.
That incident very well may have cost Curtis the chance to play in a bowl game. Curtis did not travel with the team for the Ticket City Bowl against Houston.
When asked about why Curtis didn’t travel with the team, Interim head coach Tom Bradley said it was because of “personal reasons.”
Because McGloin is still recovering from the concussion, his status for the bowl game is still unknown. Sophomore Rob Bolden would start if McGloin is unable to suit up for the January 2nd bowl game.
