Kendrick Re-Signs with Angels
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — The Los Angeles Angels have re-signed second baseman Howie Kendrick to a four year contract extension worth a reported $33.5 million dollars, provided he passes a physical.
The 28-year-old Kendrick hit .285 with 18 home runs last season. He also made his first all-star team.
Kendrick was drafted by the Angels in 2002. Until the past two seasons, he has had trouble staying healthy, but he holds a career .292 batting average through 655 games played.
