CHUBBUCK – Investigators are working to determine what caused a fire Sunday night at a home on Freedom Street in Chubbuck.

Witnesses say the fire started shortly before 10:00 p.m. Flames were shooting through the roof and multiple firefighters were on scene working to contain the fire.

“The back of the house/deck area was fully engulfed,” said Brad Winters, a neighbor who witnessed the fire. “It looks like it spread from the back to the attic.”

Neighbors say everyone inside the home was able to escape and nobody was injured.

Chubbuck Fire Department Chief Eric King is currently on scene, according to a dispatcher.
