Justin Bieber Says Nude Photo Leak ‘Wasn’t As Bad I Thought’

ABC/Image Group LA(LOS ANGELES) — Justin Bieber says he initially panicked when he learned nude photos of him had leaked online, but he admits on Monday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show that the outcome wasn’t quite as bad as he’d expected.
The photos were snapped by paparazzi as Justin vacationed in Bora Bora last month, and hit the Internet a couple of days after they were taken. Justin says his manager, Scooter Braun, was the one who told him about it.
“He was like, ‘I hate to tell you this, but your penis is on the Internet,’” he says. “I was like, ‘What?’ And so the first thing I saw was like the censored one and it had the black thing over it and I’m like, ‘Oh my goodness. I don’t know what this is gonna look like.’ And then it wasn’t as bad I thought it was gonna be. It wasn’t terrible.”
Even Justin’s dad, Jeremy Bieber, took to Twitter to announce how “proud” he was of his son’s manhood. But if you were able to tear your focus from a naked Bieber, you’d have noticed there was a young woman in the background of the photo. Ellen wasn’t afraid to ask if that was Justin’s new girlfriend.
“No it’s not,” he quickly answers. “Just a friend”
Later in the interview, talk turns to Justin’s ex, Selena Gomez. Justin admits three songs on his new album were inspired by their relationship: “What Do You Mean?,” “Sorry,” and “Mark My Words.” He also hints they might get back together someday.
“We have a lot of history together so it could possibly happen,” he says. “I think we’re both just on our own journeys, figuring ourselves out and once we’ve figured ourselves out we could maybe come together and make an awesome duo.”
“I just want her to be happy, honestly,” Justin says of Selena.
Ellen will have plenty more time to pry into Justin’s love life in the coming days. The singer will be on the show all this week, leading up to the release of his new album, Purpose, this Friday.
