Granderson Will Have MRI on Elbow
Published at(TAMPA, Fla.) — New York Yankees’ outfielder Curtis Granderson will have an MRI on his elbow Wednesday. He was scratched from the Yankees’ Tuesday night game versus the Blue Jays due to right elbow soreness.
“We’ll do a precautionary MRI tomorrow to make sure it’s nothing significant,” said Yankees general manager Brian Cashman. “We don’t believe it is.”
Granderson, 31, had his best season of his career last year hitting a career high 41 homers and knocking in 119 RBIs.
Granderson is hitting .333 in 33 at-bats this spring training.
