Man arrested after Pocatello Albertsons robbery
Published at | Updated atPOCATELLO — A man was arrested after robbing a grocery store in Pocatello, police said.
Michael Christopher Alegria Jr., 49, entered the Albertsons store on East Benton around 8:40 a.m. Saturday and demanded money from one of the clerks, according to a news release Monday. Alegria allegedly told the clerk he was armed with a gun.
He took $265 in cash and ran from the store, police said.
Based on information provided to dispatch, officers found Alegria at Harrison and Halliday. He taken into custody without incident on a charge of robbery. Officers recovered the money.
