Chance of snow, rain or frost continues next week
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS — The major population centers in eastern Idaho — Rexburg, Idaho Falls and Pocatello — likely won’t see snow this week. Temperatures are on the rise, but frost is still possible in some areas, according to the National Weather Service.
Fremont, Clark, Teton, Butte, Custer and Lemhi counties were hit with some light snow Friday. A chance of rain or snow remains in the forecast in these areas until Thursday or Friday of next week. Lows in the 20s and 30s are expected.
No major winter warnings are in effect for Idaho, or southeastern Montana. However, western Wyoming is still until a winter weather advisory and a freeze warning. Between 2 to 7 inches of snow are predicted in higher elevations above 6,500 feet.
